QUETTA: A sit-in of Balochistan Employees and Workers Grand Alliance continued for the second consecutive day at Hockey Chowk area of the provincial capital on Tuesday.
Talking to PPI, Abdul Malik Kakar, Convener, Balochistan Employees and Workers Grand Alliance said that the sit-in of employees would continue till the acceptance of all demands of BEWGA.
Moreover, Provincial President, Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami, Usman Khan Kakar, former President, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, Abdul Mateen Akhunzada and others visited the protest camp of BEWGA to express solidarity with the protesters.
Addressing protesters on the occasion, ex-senator Usman Khan Kakar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan had presented three budgets, but did not increase the salaries of employees. He said that it was the demand of Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party to get the salaries of employees increased besides entertaining the genuine demands of Balochistan Employees and Workers Grand Alliance.
