QUETTA:Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, has said that PSDP automation system had been introduced for the first time in the history of Balochistan.
These views were expressed by him while talking to Dr Jahanzaib Khan, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission who called on him at Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Monday. Khan said that data of each scheme could be traced through bar code of PSDP App, adding that development schemes were being prepared in view of the requirements of people.
He remarked that steps were being taken for promotion of private investment in the province, adding that two companies had been set up in mining sector of the province. He said that an accord had been inked with the government of Punjab for the master planning of Quetta city.
He said that digital policy in the province had been introduced for the first time, adding that attention was required to be paid towards digital connectivity. On the occasion, Chief Secretary, Balochistan, Mather Niaz Rana, Additional Chief Secretary (Development), Planning and Development Department, Government of Balochistan, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Balochistan, Zahid Saleem, Secretary, Finance Department, Pasand Khan Buledi, Secretary, Information Department, Suhail-ur-Rehman Baloch, Secretary (Implementation), Planning and Development Department, Abdullah Khan and other concerned authorities were also present.
