KARACHI:Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Sindh police in a joint intelligence based operation on Sunday arrested most wanted accused of extortionists group from New Karachi area.
According to Rangers Spokesman, Rangers and Sindh police personnel conducted a joint intelligence operation in New Karachi and arrested most wanted extortionist. Arrested accused has been identified as Zubair Ahmed alias Taj Muhammad.
The spokesman said that accused had demanded extortion of Rs.0.5 million from a trader and had threatened to abduct his son and to kill him if the demanded money was not paid. The trader had informed the Rangers on its helpline acting upon which the rangers arrested the accused. The arrested accused has been handed over to police for further investigation.
