ISLAMABAD:Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan has said that reforms are being introduced in the health sector for the welfare of public.
Addressing a ceremony here on Wednesday, he said our health card scheme is a highly important initiative, which manifests the pro people approach of the government. He was confident that this scheme will bring improvement in the healthcare system.
He said given the emergence of new COVID-19 variant, the people should continue to observe SOPs. He clarified that sixty five percent of anti-Covid vaccine doses were purchased by the government. Dr Faisal Sultan advised the people to get themselves vaccinated against the disease and take the booster shot if their vaccination period has exceeded six months.
