Karachi:Sindh High Court (SHC) Friday permitted the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Nisar Khuhro to travel abroad from Jan 5 to Feb 28.
During the hearing the assistant attorney general appraised the court that Interior Ministry accepted Nasir’s application for heading abroad.
On the other side, the assistant attorney general had also requested the court to remove the name of PPP leader from the Exit Control List (ECL). To which the court remarked that the case would be run after the return of the petitioner.
The court adjourned further hearings until the first week of March. It is pertinent to mention that Nisar Khuhro was not allowed to travel abroad because of charges related to ‘wheat scam’ and assets ‘beyond known income’.
