Postmaster General Central Punjab Irum Tariq has said that strict measures are being taken to improve postal services. On Monday, she stated that a series of direct phonic contacts with the public has been initiated to resolve issues related to mail delivery and distribution, resulting in the immediate resolution of citizens’ complaints, with next-day delivery costing only sixty rupees, whereas private courier companies previously charged over five hundred rupees for the same services.

According to reports, this direct contact strategy has led to the prompt redressal of citizens’ complaints, which has increased public trust in the government institution. According to the Postmaster General, these efforts have positioned Pakistan Post as the country’s fastest and most affordable delivery service compared to all private alternatives.

Service users have given their full approval to the new policies, particularly appreciating the assurance of next-day nationwide delivery at reasonable prices. Citizens said that the institution needed a sincere and active leader, which they believe has now been fulfilled under Tariq’s supervision.
