Srinagar, July 30, 2020 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Muzahamat has greeted the brave people of the territory ahead of Eid-ul-Azha. Tehreek-e-Muzahamat Chairman, Bilal Ahmed Siddiqi, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Eid-ul-Azha is reminder of great sacrifices of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and guide to overcome difficult situations with obedience and patience.
He appealed to the Kashmiri people to celebrate the auspicious day with austerity and take care of downtrodden people who have been facing difficulties because of continued military siege imposed by the Indian government in the occupied territory for past almost one year.
“While we observe Eid we should not forget to fulfill over social responsibilities. We have families of martyrs and prisoners around us and are duty bound to show our solidarity with them,” he added.
