The tortured body of an 18-year-old woman was found on Thursday in a house located in the Surjani area, according to information released by the Edhi Foundation.
The deceased was formally identified as Komal wife of Farhan.
Rescue services were dispatched to the residence located in Lyari Sector 50-E, from where the victim’s body was recovered.
An Edhi ambulance transferred the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal proceedings.
The Surjani Town Police Station has been informed of the incident and will conduct further investigation into the matter.
