President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on Friday for an official visit focused on a comprehensive review of bilateral relations, with key discussions centred on trade, investment, energy, and regional security.
According to a statement on Wednesday, the visit, which marks Sheikh Mohamed’s first official tour to the nation since assuming the presidency of the United Arab Emirates, comes at the express invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Ruler of Abu Dhabi will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, which includes various ministers and senior officials from the Emirati government.
During the engagement, the UAE President is set to hold a formal meeting with the Prime Minister. The agenda includes an extensive review of the entire spectrum of the Pakistan-UAE partnership, alongside an exchange of views on pressing regional and international matters of mutual interest.
This state visit is anticipated to provide a significant opportunity to further bolster the longstanding diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Officials have indicated that the trip underscores the depth of the bilateral relationship and reflects a shared commitment by both nations to deepen collaboration across crucial sectors, including development and maintaining regional stability.
