A polio eradication campaign will be conducted in Khairpur district from October 13 to October 19, 2025. In this regard, an important meeting of the Divisional Task Force was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Sukkur Division, Abid Saleem Qureshi, in which officers from Khairpur, Sukkur, and Ghotki participated. The Commissioner of Sukkur Division directed in the meeting that the performance of Assistant Commissioners, Mukhtiarkars, Union Council Secretaries, and UC In-charges should be improved, and strict legal action will be taken against any officer who fails to fulfill their responsibilities. He emphasized ensuring effective monitoring according to pre-campaign training and checklists.

Commissioner Qureshi stressed that to ensure the comprehensive success of the campaign, effective supervision should be carried out according to the scheduled training and checklist before the immunization campaign begins.

During the meeting, District Health Officer Syed Masroor-ul-Hassan Shah and Muhammad Rafi of the District Emergency Control Center gave a detailed briefing. They confirmed that preparations for the polio campaign have been completed, which include the training of vaccination teams, the deployment of supervisory officers, and the provision of all necessary equipment and information to health partners.
