Taking an unprecedented step to promote transparency and accountability, the Traffic Police Rawalpindi has introduced an open-door policy at its headquarters, under which citizens can present their complaints directly before the Chief Traffic Officer, Farhan Aslam. Under this initiative, on Thursday as well, from 11 AM to 12 PM, CTO Farhan Aslam himself listened to the complaints and problems of the citizens and issued immediate orders.
According to CTO Aslam, promptly resolving complaints not only restores confidence in the police force but also promotes community involvement-an essential element for maintaining traffic flow.
