Punjab Police have launched a major crackdown against organized crime, arresting 10,470 individuals associated with 4,254 criminal gangs this year. The operation, led by Inspector General of Police Dr. Usman Anwar, is aimed at achieving Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of a crime-free Punjab.

Police also recovered stolen property worth over 2.5 billion rupees and a large quantity of illegal weapons. Dr. Anwar has ordered an intensification of the campaign against illegal activities.
