The City Traffic Police launched a major crackdown last month against violators of traffic laws, aimed at preventing accidents and improving traffic discipline. During this period, more than 95,600 challans were issued. Among the violators, the largest number was of motorcycle riders, who were fined the most.

According to the traffic spokesperson, in the actions taken in September, a large number of riders of two-wheeled vehicles violated the laws, for which 52,000 motorcyclists were issued tickets for various violations.

The spokesperson confirmed that in addition to the actions against motorcyclists, traffic authorities also fined more than 43,600 commercial and non-commercial vehicles for non-compliance with traffic laws.
