In the Mauza Dhori Wala area of Jhang, within the limits of Qadirpur Police Station, individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on Thursday, resulting in the tragic death of a young man, Arsalan. The attackers fled the scene brandishing their weapons.
The incident was reported by Muhammad Amjad Bhatti, a resident of Qamarabad Colony, Mauza Aqilpur, and a farmer by profession, and a case has been registered at the Qadirpur Police Station.
According to the complainant, the attack occurred when he was returning home from his fields at 8:30 AM, accompanied by his son Arsalan Amjad, brother Muhammad Arshad, and cousin Ghulam Raza. The attackers, three individuals wearing masks and riding an unnumbered Honda 125 motorcycle, ambushed them near the shrine of Peer Muhammad Shah.
The attackers allegedly issued threats and specifically targeted Arsalan Amjad, who was trying to escape. However, Arsalan was hit by multiple bullets and died on the spot. The attackers fled.
