KHAIRPUR:Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday announced that his party will fight to stop the federal government from rolling back the 18th Amendment to the Constitution.
Talking to media after the inauguration of a medical college in Gambat, he said PPP will go to any extent to resist any move of the PTI’s government, adding that if needed, a long march will be arranged to safeguard the 18th Amendment.
The PPP chief said politicians should shun their differences for the sake of democracy, as the country was passing through a critical phase when a selected government is formed to create a suppressed democracy.

Referring to recent minibudget, he feared that by this act of the government, the basic utilities would go beyond the reach of the poor class.
Commenting on province-wide junior doctors’ strike, he said Sindh government is friendly to public. He said the government doctors should have talked to the government of Sindh about their issues.
Bilawal said that their party leaders sacrificed their lives for protecting democracy, adding that the country and the province of Sindh are facing huge challenges but now no one could snatch our rights.
