ATTOCK: Eight persons were wounded when gas leakage blast happened in Attock on Saturday, police said.
According to the police, the incident took place in Farooq-e-Azam Colony of Attock when a wedding ceremony was being held at the house. As a result, eight persons were wounded. The blast spread panic in the area. The blast also damaged nearby houses.
Rescue staff shifted the injured to Rawalpindi Hospital for treatment. Police also rushed to the scene and started probe into the incident. No loss of life occurred in the blast. Six women were among the wounded persons, the police said.
