ISLAMABAAD:Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed on Wednesday asked Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to reschedule its long march from March 23 to March 30.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Rasheed said that the PDM should change the date of its march because it starts on GT Road before March 23 and all the headquarters are located on GT Road.
He said PML-N supremo will not come to Pakistan, and if he wants to come to the homeland, the interior ministry will provide travel documents to him within 24 hours. The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has decided to launch a long march towards Islamabad on March 23 against the government’s anti-people measures and inflation.
However, the eight-party opposition alliance has rejected the government’s criticism about the long march on the Pakistan Day falling on March 23. The PDM has decided to shore up the long march on Islamabad on March 23 at all costs and vowed to resist any possible resistance from the government
