Islamabad, May 08, 2019 (PPI-OT): There will be collaboration to curb smuggling of petroleum products at Pakistan-Iran border. This was said by Nadeem Babar, Special advisor to Prime Minister on Petroleum (SAPM) Khan in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Islamabad Mehdi Honardoost, who called him at his office on Wednesday. Current visit to Iran and mutual cooperation also came under confab. Nadeem Babar pointed towards commonality between both countries regarding faith, linguistic and antiquity and added that Pakistan and Iran should improve their commercial cooperation. Iranian Ambassador added that CPEC is a game changer for the entire region and Iran can play its role in CPEC. He also said that Pakistan and Iran may have joint endeavours regarding off shore exploration of oil and gas. Both sides agreed to fortify their relations.
