ISLAMABAD: The federal government Saturday reconstituted a medical board for the treatment of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill.

The four-member medical board consists of doctors from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad. The medical specialists of medicine, general surgery, pulmonology, and intensive care were included in the panel.

Associate Professor of Medicine Shafaat Rasool has been appointed as head of the medical board while General Surgeon Atif Inam Shami, Pulmonologist Dr. Zia, Assistant Professor of Medical ICU Dr. Salman will be other members of the board. The team will prepare a medical report about Shahbaz Gul’s treatment.
