Islamabad, August 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha is scheduled to visit Pakistan from tomorrow (Tuesday). This will be the OIC chief’s first bilateral visit to Pakistan since he assumed office in November 2021. He will also visit Azad Jammu and Kashmir where the divinatory will be briefed on the Indian atrocities against people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and along the Line of Control.

It is worth mentioning here that the OIC Secretary General expressed, the other day, deep sorrow over the casualties, massive destruction of property and loss of life resulting from the floods in Pakistan.

In a statement, the OIC had said, “The Secretary-General offers sincere condolences to the government and people of Pakistan, expresses sympathies to the victims of the floods, and appeals to all member states, Islamic humanitarian organizations and the international community at large for emergency assistance to mitigate the suffering of the affected populations”.
