ISLAMABAD: A chartered plane of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has left for Poland to repatriate Pakistanis stranded in Warsaw following the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
This was announced in a tweet by the PIA on Tuesday. According to the announcement, the national flag carrier in coordination with the Foreign Affairs ministry Pakistan, has dispatched a special repatriation flight to Warsaw, Poland to bring back stranded Pakistanis from war-hit Ukraine.
It said that Flight Number-PK7788, will return to Islamabad with the stranded Pakistanis today (Tuesday). The plane will bring back home to around 300 Pakistanis, who were displaced by the Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
