Islamabad:Federal Planning Minister Asad Umar has said that the federal government would give a grant of Rs12000 each to 12 million needy families.
Addressing a media briefing along with Hammad Azhar and Dr Zafar Mirza, he said this assistance for four months at the rate of Rs3000 per months would be given in one go. He said we are working to contain virus and also to ensure that people easily get basic needs of life.
He said that a package of Rs50billion is given to the Utilities Stores Corporation to facilitate consumers. He said there is no shortage of wheat, adding all crops would be sown as per their regular schedule.
