LARKANA: The missing child of Naundero Sahil Korejo has not yet been recovered by Larkana police despite passage of over five years.
In this connection, a meeting of Provincial Task Force has been scheduled on 5th March at Home Department which will be chaired by Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Home Department, in Karachi for which letters have been issued to Director General, Pakistan Rangers, IGP Sindh, DIGs of CIA and Larkana, Commanders of ISI and MI, AIGPs Special Branch and CTD, Directors of IB and FIA. The letter issued by Section Officer Aijaz Ali Bhatti mentioned CP No D-1346 pending decision before Sindh High Court, Circuit Court, Larkana about the Sahil Korejo.
Masood Bangash, SSP Larkana, in a letter to DSP/SHO Naundero, has strictly directed them to inform the family of missing child Sahil Korejo to appear before the ACS on the specified date and time. Zahoor Korejo, father of the missing child who was 5 years at the time of his alleged abduction, told newsmen on Thursday that he was working as dispenser at a private doctors clinic and drawing Rs5000 monthly salary.
He said he had already spent all his savings on cases and police investigations which continue since over five years hence he will not go in a police mobile to Karachi along with his family, as directed by the police, due to fear of cops who have done nothing as yet to recover his beloved son. He said either government should bear the travelling costs out of taxpayer’s money or else he shall be forced to attend the meeting along with his father after cutting “stomach” of my family members.
He said SHO Inspector Sartaj Jagirani was posted at Naundero police station when his child was kidnapped. He said Jagirani confessed before the then SSP Kamran Nawaz Panjotha that child is alive, he knew the accused and can he be recovered but he did nothing to recover my son. He said only the same SHO Jagirani can recover his son if he is given the task because he know the accused and had probed the case since beginning.
