NAUNDERO: The incidents of thefts have once again surfaced in the hometown of Bhutto leaders and politically supported influential cops have completely failed to curb the increasing rate of crimes, lawlessness and arrest the accused.

According to details, last night, locks of Niaz Lakho, residing near Bhutto House, were cut and thieves stole his three tola gold, Rs50,000 cash, two batteries, solar plates, UPS and charger.

In another incident, the hotel of Abdul Hameed Khuhro was burgled near Sugar Mill and he was deprived of LCD TV, solar plates, batteries and other costly material. Footprints were followed with the help of sniffing dogs which led to a nearby Bajhi Gopang village but instead of recovering the stolen material police did nothing and returned empty handed.

In other incidents, thieves third time stole the water motor of Abdullah Katpar from Dahesar Colony and motorcycles of Javed Katpar and Aijaz Kumbhar were stolen which were parked outside their homes.

The residents have expressed their dissatisfaction and anger against police working as recovery of more than 10 thefts previously occurred have neither yet been traced nor looted goods have been recovered which is vivid proof of police failure to maintain peace. They said that thieves are roaming openly in the town but the influential cops are not taking any action against the criminals which means they are more powerful than cops.

The citizens have urged the IGP Sindh, DIGP and SSP Larkana to take notice of negligent Naundero police’s failure to curb crimes, recover stolen goods, arrest criminals and ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility which is their prime duty.
