QUETTA: The Balochistan government has constituted two committees to probe violation of Covid SOPs by the employees in sit-in demonstration.
A notification issued by Services and General Administrative Department said Thursday with prior approval from the competent authority, the following committees are hereby constituted to inquire regarding the violation of SOPs against COVID-19 by the employees in the sit-in next to Civil Secretariat, Balochistan, Quetta by breaking NCOC’s emergency clauses, emergency situation, 144 imposed, disciplinary standards as per government rules, government rules of conduct and courts decisions on unions and the leniency shown by the administration during the subject period.
The committee-1 comprises Muhammad Asif Bilal Lodhi (PAS/BPS-20), Director General, Anti-Corruption; Imran Gichki (BSS/BPS-20), Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department; Zafar Ali Bukhari (BCS/BPS-20), Secretary, Mines and Minerals; a representative of Inspector General of Police. Committee-II consists of Roshan Ali Sheikh (PAS/BPS-20), Secretary, Science and Information Technology Department; Muhammad Ali Kakar (BSS/BPS-20), Secretary, Inter Provincial Coordination Department; and Ghulam Ali Baloch (BCS/BPS-20), Secretary, Building Department and a representative of IGP.
