QUETTA:Two coal miners died and two others sustained injuries due to landslide in a local coal mine of district Duki in Balochistan province on Saturday.

According to rescue sources, land slid in a local coal mine of Duki, resultantly, two miners namely Syed Jamal and Razi Khan, residents of Swat, KPK, died while two others namely Jahandad and Irfan were injured. The bodies and injured were retrieved from the debris of collapsed mine and shifted to Civil Hospital, Duki for completion of codal formalities and treatment, respectively. The bodies were sent to ancestral area for burial after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities in the hospital while the injured were being treated.

Separately, the body of unidentified person was found from Jable Noor area of Quetta in Balochistan province on Saturday. According to rescue sources, the body of unidentified person was found from Jable Noor area of Quetta. The body was shifted to the morgue of Sandeman Provincial Hospital (SPH), Quetta for identification and further legal action. Further investigation was being conducted by the authorities of concerned police station.
