QUETTA: Dr Mir Nurullah Musakhail, Medical Superintendent, Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital, Quetta has said that UNHCR had provided 200 KV automatic generator to Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital.
He informed that the provision of a generator would help provide uninterrupted supply of electricity to ICU and wards of the hospital. He thanked the authorities of UNHCR to have provided 200 KV automatic generator to Fatima Jinnah General and Chest Hospital.
Meanwhile, Abdul Rahim Kakar, President, Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Balochistan, has said that one kg sugar was not available in the cheap bazaar set up by the government for providing relief to the people. In a statement, he said that if the government wished to enforce lockdown, it be enforced, but shopkeepers should be compensated in advance for the loss they would face owing to lockdown to be enforced. Rejecting nine-day-lockdown, he said that it was not acceptable to the business community. He called on authorities to withdraw the notification whereby nine-day-lockdown had been enforced for containing the spread of novel coronavirus.
