The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two individuals in Multan today in a major crackdown against illegal commercial activities, including the manufacturing of counterfeit goods and the illicit theft of electricity.

One of the detained individuals has been identified as Muhammad Samad, who is accused of manufacturing unauthorized goods and falsely presenting them as products of a legitimate, registered entity.

In a separate part of this major operation conducted by the FIA Multan Zone, authorities also took Abdul Malik into custody. He is suspected of being involved in electricity theft.

Both suspects were formally arrested following the operation. The FIA has confirmed that a formal investigation has been launched into the matter to ascertain the full extent of the alleged crimes.
